I feel that the need to write to you regarding your Glendale AZ outlet at 5880 W. Bell Rd. I am 49 years old and owned my first home at age 19, which means that I have been doing home improvement projects for 30 years. I have never received such wonderful service than I have from your employees. In the past 5 weeks, I have replaced countertops with granite, carpeting with Travertine, and now am finishing with a vessel top, tile covered vanity. Every time I enter your store I am greeted with a sincere "may I help you". Your employees stay with the customer until all questions are satisfied or leave you to browse, but are close at hand as soon as help is needed. Sounds simple I know, but this kind of service is rare now and I want you to know how valuable your staff is to someone like me. I have been in your store nine times and have have encountered at least ten Floor and Decor employees. As I said, at every visit the kindness and courtesy has truly touched me. My time is valuable and their efficiency has also saved me time on every visit. If you offer some incentives or perks for exemplary service, please acknowledge the Glendale staff. I have recommended your store to at least four friends and neighbors who are remodeling.

We recently moved into a house completed for us by a builder that utilized Floor and Decor for all the hard flooring materials. unfortunately, we were not left with any extra pieces by his subs for any potential future repairs.

I visited your Plano, TX store last saturday in hopes of obtaining the various pieces. Unfortunately, one of the mfg.'s line is no longer available. Anthony Lagmay took a significant amount of time to visit with me, eventually contacting various store managers throughout the region. I believe he was able to arrange for a box of the item in question to be shipped from your San Antonio store. He even attempted to 'discourage' me from getting this type of item delivered to me, for the chances of it being broken are always great for something less than a pallete (since i'm not in a rush, Anthony indicated he'd call when that manager makes his next trip to dallas, thus bringing it with him).

Bottom line, i've not experienced such personal attention in a retail environment in a very long time. Individuals such as Anthony allow people such as myself to hold out hope that retail means more than an exchange of money for a product.

We are building a house near Gray, GA, and just wanted to take a moment to let you know that we drove from the Macon area to your Southlake store Saturday, Jan 19, on the recommendation of a tile contractor. He was very adamant that before we purchased ANY flooring other than carpet, that we visit your store. To be perfectly frank, we had visited all the DIY stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot, and were fairly dissatisfied with the range of selection and pricing. We visited a couple of specialty tile stores in our area, and although the selection improved greatly, the prices were prohibitive.

Then, we came to your store. Wow. Even more selection than even the specialty stores, and MUCH better pricing than the discount DIY stores.

We bought, over the course of the next two days, (we had to return Sunday to pick up all the tile we bought Saturday, and bought even more!) over a thousand dollars worth of tile. This same tile would have cost five to eight thousand anywhere else. We also have planned to return to purchase $4000 worth of maple hardwood flooring, and about $500 in marble to do out kitchen countertops.

The reason we write, in addition to being very appreciative of the good selection and great prices, was to tell you that we were equally impressed with the staff at this store. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. We met the General manager, Shawn Cannon, who himself took a moment to ask whether we were finding everything ok, and when we told him they had less of a certain product than we needed, he immediately looked it up, found it at other stores, and arranged to have it brought to Southlake for our convenience. We didn't get passed by an employee who did not stop to ask us if we needed help, and the times we needed help, the employees were courteous, knowledgeable, and just generally seemed to care about us and their job. Well done, all. We also appreciated the beautiful displays that we could really see how some of the tiles looked installed.

We fully intend to let everyone know that THIS is the place to shop for tile and wood flooring. It was certainly well worth the trip from Macon, and we will do it again soon. Anne says this is her "new favorite store."

Even if the prices were equal to the discount DIY stores, the excellent customer service made this experience completely worthwhile. We would love to have a store like this in Macon!

I've been to this store four times now, more or less, to buy wood, to buy glue and sealant, to return excess sealent, to buy edging, and to return said edging, and all but one visit was brightened by the presence of Liz. My daughter recently purchased her first home (townhome) and decided she wanted to replace the living and dining room carpet with wood flooring. In the kitchen and the down stairs bathroom, she wanted to replace the vinyl flooring with tile. We found everything we needed for our do-it-ourselves project at our local Floors & Decor Outlet store. After shopping around we found that not only were the prices better at Floor & Decor, but the service was outstanding. I would like to personally thank Jack Milligan at the Highlands Ranch, CO store for his expert coaching as we tackled these projects. I had absolutely no experience at putting down tile or a wood floor. Jack's instructional class gave us the confidence to do this job ourselves and save installation costs. Throughout the project, Jack had suggestions and problem solving ideas that kept us out of trouble. He definitely went the extra mile in customer service. My husband and I have taken on the mammoth task of building our own home with the Owner/Builder Network. 2 months ago I was in your Plano store looking for some travertine and slate tile and was helped by the store's general manager Anthony Lagmay. I cannot tell you enough how pleased I was with the service. Anthony not only took the time to help me find the tile I wanted, he also contacted the Arlington store when he realized he did not have enough stock for my order and transferred everything there so that I would only have one place to pick up my order. He also took the time to call the manager at the Arlington store and confirm the order was received and pulled so that everything would be there when I showed up. He went out of his way to make sure that I was completely satisfied even though it meant he transferred the bulk of a large sale to another store. Kudos also to Ken the Arlington store manager who found out we were with the OBN and gave us the store discounts which we did not even know were available. I am now a Floor and decor customer for life and will also be passing on this info on the owner/Builder website. Thanks to all involved!

We had to redo our bathroom shower in our house and went to Floor & Decor after we had visited two other stores. Our tile guy was going to be at our home the next day to do the install so we were really worried that we would find something we liked. Amy at the Kennesaw store was there to help us. After walking around for an hour we chose a tile and another customer wanted this tile also and there was not enough. Amy came to our aide and showed us something else and they had plenty of it. We purchased it and when our tile guy showed up and began the install he said this was the ugliest tile he had ever seen. After he was done he was amazed at the finished shower and the beauty of the tile. He even said he wished he had seen the tile before he did his house. He is in the process of building a very large home in Florida and said he liked this tile far more than what he had chose for his own home. After seeing how beautiful it turned out I returned to Floor & Decor to purchase enough to redo our whole master bathroom. I am very pleased with Floor & Decor and the help I received from Amy Wybrow.

I was back in the Plano Store on 15th again this past Super-bowl Sunday and Mike Rojo the Asst. Manager waited on me. I was trying to pick out tile and grout for my back splash and I had brought a sample of the counter top with me and the cabinet wood. I was concerned about how the sealer changed the color of the tiles and I was having a problem finding something I really liked and that I trusted wouldn't’t change color to much with the sealer on it. Mike was wonderful he took the time to answer all my questions , showed me the spray water bottle trick and we walked around and around looking for something that kicked my starter! He was great! I picked out a tile I liked and he even got me a sample to take home so that the husband could approve. I will be going back this afternoon after work to pick up the back splash tile that Mike helped me with. I just wanted to tell you how helpful Mr.Rojo was. How nice he was to work with and how knowledgeable he was …he took his time, he made me comfortable and no question I asked seemed to lack merit with him. He made the process fun and comfortable and when you are talking about spending that much money and that much labor into a project a little comfort goes a long way. I will be doing the floors through out the house too in the near future so you can be assured that I will be back to Floor and Décor Plano as my preferred supplier just based on the care Mike Rojo took with me.

My husband and I had been in the market for laminate flooring for one of the rooms in our home. After having visited many other retail stores in the area, we visited your store at 800 W 15th St. here in Plano. First, what a pleasant surprise it was to first see the prices of your merchandise versus your competitors. Also, a refreshing difference from your competitors, we were offered immediate assistance yet never felt like the vultures were hovering to get our business. We were taken to where we wanted to be and then left to browse. While browsing we noticed that a class was being held that same day to explain installation of laminate flooring and since neither of us knew a thing about it, we decided to attend.

I can’t tell you enough how impressed we were with the demonstration that we received. Mark Travis was patient, intelligent and no matter how many times the same question was posed to him, was able to modify the explanation just enough to bring understanding to the entire group. He is truly an asset to your store and your company.

I made a couple of trips to the store in search of hardwood flooring for my home. It was such a pleasant surprise in this day and age to actually be helped by knowledgeable, friendly and helpful associates. Sandy, the first gentleman that helped me listened to what I was looking for in the price range I needed then proceeded to write down all pertinent information on each sample I was purchasing. This was a great resource when I got home with the samples while deciding which product I would purchase.

After I decided which hardwood I was going to buy I went back to make my purchase. I called ahead to make sure the hardwood was still available in the quantity I needed (600 square feet); and an associate, Vickie was very patient and polite throughout my cell phone call dropping and hanging up on her. When I called back she continued to assist me as though there had not been an interruption.

When my husband and I got to the store we were helped by James Hellams. He was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of our technical questions and even spoke with my flooring subcontractor over the phone to find out exactly what type underlayment we needed. He went the extra mile to make sure we got what we wanted and needed.

It was a pleasure to have done business at the Morrow location because we found the exact hardwood flooring we wanted at the price we could afford and to top it off these associates we were helped by were all wonderful. They have made me a customer from now on and believe me I will tell other friends and my own clients about Floor & Decor.

I was very pleased with the workers from "Affiliate Ceramic Creations". There was excellent communication from them about what was happening and what was needed. We saw something at the Floor & Decor store and we wanted to see if it would help the process or hinder it. We spoke with the installer and asked for an honest opinion. He was willing to try it and see what it looked like (they did take pictures). It made some of the process easier for them and ensured a very unique design for us. Toward the end of the original job, we enjoyed what we were seeing so much that we decided to add the kitchen and got it approved on the schedule.

*Ultimately we are overly/extremely satisfied with both the service and the workmanship.*

I visited your store Monday, May 26th for your Memorial Day sale and returned May 27th to pick up items I purchased. On both days the employees were very nice and courteous and very customer service oriented and attentive to the needs of the customers in the store.

I returned May 27th to pick up the items after borrowing my neighbor's Truck and ran into several problems with the truck. When your staff was Ready to load the order on the truck, the tailgate door would not open due to A broken latch and the key was stuck in the tailgate lock preventing your staff from loading the order from the forklift.

Instead of getting mad or developing an attitude or telling me to come back, your staff (4 employees) tried for at least 30 minutes in the hot sun (86 -90 degrees) from 1:00 - 1:45p or longer to help me get the tailgate door open and remove the key, even after I had given up and told them I would call AAA for the key removal and come back later.

They did not let the problem deter them and they were determined to make sure I got my order yesterday by unpacking everything they had packaged and placed on the pallet. The receipt shows that it was 130 items. They went above and beyond their duties, ensuring my order was loaded on the pickup truck. They were professional, courteous, good-spirited, with no complaints, no attitudes or sarcasm, and they displayed excellent team work and service. They were genuinely concerned about me as a customer after the fact. I really appreciate the extra effort they put forward to ensure my order was loaded on the truck box by box in the HOT!!!!!! sun.

The name of the four employees are Damian, Jackie, Javier and Pam. These employees, along with the rest of the staff I came into contact with over the past two days, will be the reason I will return. I originally visited the store for a good deal/sale on quality products but I will return and be a repeat customer because of the excellent, quality customer service I received over the past two days. I hope there is way your company can recognize or show the employees at this store (especially the four named above) some type of appreciation for representing your company so well. Home Depot can learn a lot from your staff.

Your staff members were available, knowledgeable, concerned, attentive, willing to help, courteous, friendly and demonstrated good, quality customer service.

Again, I really appreciate the quality customer service I received. Good customer service is priceless. I plan on telling my friends about my good experience and when at all possible ask my contractors to add your company to their supplier lists for my rental units in addition to my personal residence.
