While Porcelain is generally resistant to liquids, stains and dirt, the grout surrounding it is not. That means it’s important to protect the grout with the proper sealant.
Make sure that every tile has at least 85% contact to the mortar and sub-floor for interior applications, 95% for exterior applications, and 100% for submerged applications.
When installing Porcelain tiles 12" x 12" or larger, it is critical that sub-floors are flat, smooth and level.
Be sure to seal unglazed Porcelain to help retain its beautiful appearance.
For proper installation, please see manufacturer’s specifications.
